The first piece. I thought I would make the ground floor 9 inches high so that we have plenty of headroom to hang some nice wagon wheel type candle lights. The windows I bought, so only had to cut the hole. And then glue on the beam strips. I use anaphylatic glue, as it dries nice and quick.
I found your blog by chance, congratulations for the excellent work! I'm also renovating a Tudor house from 1930, we'll see how it goes!
